But my future tense is past

Yesterday I cracked open a fortune cookie, excited to see what the future had in store, but it was empty.

I thought it meant I had no future.

My friend thought it was just unfortunate.

(Thank you, thank you, we'll be here all week.)

  4. Your future might be limited if the economy doesn't get out of the gutter....I read in the NY Times online how grants and funding for Universities are taking a huge hit right now...

  5. Silent Kid, it's probably already there, but coming from a different direction from what you mean.

Manuel, I know, it was lame.

Delirious, I don't. I should write one up. I just figure that I don't really have anything, so it shouldn't be hard to divide up.

My future already is limited. I'm supposed to be graduating soon, but most of the job opportunities are over in Europe. We'll see how it all plays out (I mean, I do actually have to graduate first), but I'm nervous. Real nervous.

  6. Thanks for the comment. It's people like you who keep the USA above water, in my opinion.

  7. It might be fun to teach in Europe...you could do research on the Dusseldorf Minnow or something...
