I love that I can wake up at 3 a.m. with an "Aha!!" moment, and rather than get up and scramble for a piece of paper and a pen, I can just grab my cell phone and text it to myself so that I don't forget what it was once I go back to sleep.
Technology is great.
Suck on that, Darwin!

i wish i had "aha!" moments
but on the off chance i ever do, thats a good idea.
my aha moments are conversational related and come at 3am when I think of something I should have said.
I've been a bad blogger friend but I've made it back.
How is that related to Darwin?
No Name, I have very few of them, that's why I'm glad I didn't forget this one.
Kmwthay, sorry that missing the Wilco show put you into a funk ;-)
Troll, my Aha moment had to do with a manuscript I'm getting ready to submit. It's more of a thing that I'll never be a good scientist, but at least I don't have to stumble around with a candle to find something to write with.
so the real AHA moment was the fact that you can text?
What has the world come to when you text yourself a message rather than simply write it down---if it is that difficult why don't you leave your computer at your bedside and all signed on.

Ah, but at least I'd have the outgoing text message still saved in my phone ;-)
Boxer, the aha moment was how to phrase a sentence in an abstract I'd been trying to get just right.
I love moments like that too...Thank Heavens for cell phones!! :)
