Native! Is this a Mute Monday? If not, there is an amazing collection of very peaceful and beautiful places. If so, these are "Weird", but clearly good. Very MaxfieldParrish, who I love.

Indeed it is. I won't be participating in all Mute Mondays from here on out, but occasionally will if the mood (and theme) strikes me. I just felt like I needed something to use as a transition from last week's serious post to the mindless drivel I usually write. All of this is art by James Christensen, but unfortunately, I couldn't find a picture of my favorite piece of his. It's hanging in my bathroom, so maybe I'll take a picture of it and add it in later.

When I read the title, and saw the first couple of pictures, I immediately heard Sebastian singing "Under the Sea."
(The Little Mermaid messed me up for life)

Cool collection, Minnow.

Fabulous interpretation!

Look forward to seeing more

Weird but good stuff. If you'd have said "I'm UP" at Mute Monday Headquarters, you'd prolly have had 12 comments or more.

Most people scoot over to other participants blogs and say something nice.

These are just lovely Minnow. I wanted to break out into "Under the Sea" too when I saw them. Hope you are feeling a little better this week.

I like his art...can't remember where I have seen the originals, but I think it was at BYU

Funny, I almost went with Under the Sea for the title. I didn't because of the pictures of the ruins, since they're not underwater and all.

Delirious, you probably did see his originals at BYU. He used to be an art professor there. I'm not sure if he still is. He also did all the bronze statues at the Shops at the Riverwoods, and I believe the stained glass window in the children's wing of the Orem city library. He's quite the artist.
