Bangs to drape across your forehead

My daughter: Dad, you might not be the right person to ask this, but do you know how people get their hair to be wavy? You know, like the kind of big waves?

Me: Genetics.

She's right. I'm not the right person to ask that.

Tell her to buy some hot rollers. They work like magic ( it takes a pro to handle a curling iron correctly so you won't get Shirley Temple curls)

Your youngest sister says to use a curling iron and make small curls, then brush them out and it makes the big waves.

I've got naturally curly hair and I just use Pantene for curly hair conditioner to help with the boost (I've got long hair).

Since I can not spend a butt load on hair stuff (well, except my Ashley, but that is totally differnt)...I have to use normal, everyday from the store products.

Mousse for the light, bouncy curl. Have her bend over when she's drying her hair...scrunch and dry.....scrunching is important...she will know what that means....if she wants the Ashley Simpson, Lindsay Lohan curls, she will have to blow-dry her hair out....curl her hair starting at the middle, set, go down, curl some more, fluff...god, I know that sounds kind of vague, but my Ashley did that to me and I felt like Paris Hilton...but older....much much older.....

does she have layeres and sections? i have layers and sections?...god, now you have me worried....

Just go to the beauty store and buy a giant waver machine...it's like a curling iron, but huge...and it makes big waves...Geez...don't you know anything?!

I think it is sweet that she asks you, even though I'm sure deep down she knows you are totally clueless.

She is so not right, you gave her a perfectly valid answer.

None of the answers above...
Go to the beauty supply store and buy her some huge plastic rollers.

Or buy that really cute curling iron that you wrap the hair around into circles and clamp...
I just bought it (you can go to the beauty supply store, but it's at walmart, too) and it does all kinds of cute stuff.
