So far away but it's so easy to see

This is one of the best pictures ever taken of me:

I came across it as I was going through some old photographs at my parents' house last weekend. Flieswithoutwings took it one day when we went to the river in order to try out my new (and very first) fly rod. I don't think we were successful in catching any fish that day, but at least we got a great picture out of the deal.

It looks suspiciously like MT, (or any other NW state for that matter)

Silentkid, I'm carrying the very flyrod that you broke a few years later while fishing for whitefish in southern Idaho.

Ryan, the pictures was taken along the Green River in NE Utah (aka, one of my favorite places in the world).

I was about to say that the trick to taking a good picture is to find a person's GOOD side...

...but then I realized that came off as sort of gay. In this case.
