Teenage girls read magazines

Me: I don't really like it either, but whatev.

Friend: Wait, did you just say "whatev"?

Me: I did.

Friend: That's it. You're officially thirteen years old.

Me: Whatev.

at least I add an "a" to the end of that... which gives me what... two more years?

Actually, I think it's a sign that you HAVE a teenager and listen to them talk like that. ;)

I too think it's ridiculous to add that extra "er" syllable

I have some clients now that always say "Coo" instead of "Cool" it drives me nuts...

I just can't bring myself to say that word. I do however say Hecka and sweet to annoy my 9 year old.

It's working too.

I think it depends on the tone that it was said with because that sounds dicey to me. Perhaps emulating the British Woman's accent from yr. furniture pick-up would help.
