WOW. I really love that one with the clouds and mountains reflected in the water and also the one of the two people hiking with that fallen trunk splitting another in the foreground. Are they your children? They're gorgeous!

wow! great photos! I'm jealous of all the cool stuff you did in 2007. Hopefully we'll get out more in '08! And I love the pics of your kids. Your older boy looks JUST like you. Except cuter, of course.

Kris, Ice Hole, Michelle, Thanks!

Gypsy, the pics you mention specifically are Lake Alouette just east of Vancouver, BC, early in the morning. The other one with the split tree, has me in the yellow shirt, and a friend of a friend (I'd only met her the night before, and to be honest, can't remember her name). Those are my kids in the other pics though, and they are gorgeous!

Mindy, I did have a good year. I didn't get to see my kids as much as I'd have liked to, but I did get to do a lot of cool stuff. I even kept it short because I felt like I was putting too many pics up. I tried to do one pic from each major trip or fun event that I had pics from. It's hard to do stuff like that when your kids are as young as yours are, but when they get older I'm sure you'll be doing plenty of outdoorsy stuff with them. Maybe you could take them to the Amazon where you found your true love ;-)

Waitress, that is me, and after seeing your rack, the answer to your question is, "Indeed!"

Steph, I can't take credit, it's ArtfulSub's idea.

Oh yeah, and Steph, she's still seeing blurry out of it, but the doctors say that it should get back to normal vision after a while. It's just a slow healing process. She doesn't have anymore pain, so that's good.

Those are some sweet landscape pics in there. Hope you made your way to Espanola and didn't get snowed in. I made it through and back again from Alb. to Taos.
