Pretty as a penny, rollerskate skinny

Last week I went to the doctor for a physical. She recommended that I have some blood work done, so I made an appointment later in the week. I had to fast prior to having my blood drawn, so I was quite hungry while teaching the morning of the day I was supposed to go back.

Student: I'm so hungry.

Me: I am too, but you can't talk about food in here right now.

Student: Why not?

Me: Because I can't eat until 4:00 this afternoon.

Student: Why? Are you anorexic?

Me: Do I look anorexic?

Student: You could be just starting out.

Me: Aren't I a little old for that?

Student: It's never too late to start.

That's the spirit!!! Although in theory I always prefered bulemia because you get to eat an entire cake in one sitting and then still be thin. Sort of like my lifestyle now-- except for the thin part.

true true, Kaleb and I have daily conversations about how we should become bulemic, anorexic, or start taking crack in order to become skinny, however our follow-through is lacking LOL

Last week I was pretty sure I had food poisoning. From a frappuccino. Or the swine flu. Whatever it was, it wasn't the weight-loss-inducing parasite I've always hoped for.

bwahahah to kmwathy.

I'm having blood work done tomorrow and made my appointment for 8:00 A.M! That way I can be cranky and hungry while I sleep.

hope it went well.

and really, is it ever too late to start anything?

Steph...once you are in your 20s-30s, it is kind of too late to date high-school girls...

That is the only example I can think of... :)

When you get past 35 isn't that when you can start using age as the excuse for your lack of muscle tone (isn't that nicer than saying fat?)

doctor, you may be onto something there....though i'm sure in some parts of the world and our country, you'd be just fine!
here in fabulous northeast florida, where that little girl went missing (hayley cummings), her 26-year old dad married his 17 year-old girlfriend. so maybe it's never too late!
